The
Swerve Festival rides into town this September and you're invited. Working with our friends at
Fuel TV and
Flux,
Global Inheritance will be integrating both brand-new and classic programs to the festival, happening September 28-30 at Barnsdall Art Park. The
Swerve Festival features the art, film, music, and action sports that allow the West Coast to rock as hard as it does.
Global Inheritance will offer several cool energy displays onsite, including the ethanol popcorn tree and
Tour De Swerve bikes that generate power for charging cell phones, running laptops and iPods. Swerve ticket holders interested in getting
TRASHed can visit a recycling exchange center with their empty bottles/cans collected onsite and turn in their CD jewel cases, VHS tapes and cassette tapes. Each day, individuals can collect points by recycling to purchase cool merchandise, including travel bags, screening passes, organic jeans, music, limited print skateboard decks, iPod speakers, DVDs + more. In support of the
TRASHed :: Recycling Store,
Global Inheritance will host
TRASHed :: Art of Recycling bins around the venue.
