Global Inheritance traveled up the I-5 to beautiful San Francisco to host the
TRASHed :: Recycling Store at the first annual
Treasure Island Music Festival.

You could not have picked a better place in San Francisco to host a festival. People enjoyed the cityscape views as they jammed out to
Thievery Corporation,
M.I.A.,
Gotan Project,
Modest Mouse,
Spoon, and many other musicians.

The
TRASHed :: Recycling Store recruited a recycling army of thousands to insure that the festival grounds were spotless. Motivated individuals exchanged their empty water bottles, cans, and biodegradable beverage cups for autographed band merchandise, festival t-shirts, Netflix memberships, VitaminWater, Logitech iPod speakers, badges to Noise Pop 2008, free tickets to upcoming Bay Area shows and much much more!

Big props to Whitney Zimmerman, Ryan Carney, and friends who donated their time/sweat to guarantee a successful campaign. Lastly, we thank the Bay Area who came out and showed us how it's done... Recycling that is!
