Global Inheritance crossed the finish line on Sunday with another successful year at the
Summer X Games, bringing even more excitement and awareness to the athletes and fans at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles.

With the continued support of our partner
Disney Environmentality and friends at
X Games, thousands of empty bottles and cans were recycled at the
TRASHed :: Recycling Store, hundreds of cars arrived full, recycling bins were redesigned, and eco-friendly RC cars raced around the track. Recyclers received their pick of several cool items at the exchange center, including belts made from skatedecks, purses from candy wrappers, bags from old records, organic Loomstate jeans and totes, Livity hemp iPod holders, Logitech headphones + lots more.
Smart people who were caught carpooling to the games received prizes for everyone in the car, and four lucky drivers each won a grand prize in our daily drawing. Congrats to Darrell Murphy, Arleen Wend, Missy Basham and Mary Sachs. Prizes included four two-day passes to
Disneyland, including a night at one of the
Disneyland resorts; four tickets to the
Summer X Games 14 in 2008; four tickets to the
Coachella Music & Arts Festival in 2008; and four
Boost Mobile phones with a month's worth of minutes.
Global Inheritance also made our mark on the
X Games with the
Alternative Fuel RC Racing initiative. Fans took RC cars for a spin around a racetrack, learning first-hand the benefits of alternative fuels.
THe
TRASHed :: Art of Recycling initiative was also featured in the athlete lounge with live recycling bin painting. Each day, a new artist showed their skills to the
Summer X Games athletes. The bins looked awesome, and everyone in the lounge gained a little insight. Thanks to our artists Erik Siador, DemonBabies, Pinky and Josh Geyer! Want more
