Virgin Festival Balitmore: Wrap-Up Report
September 07, 2010

The TRASHed :: Recycling Store traveled to Baltimore, Maryland this past weekend to visit all our East Coast friends at the Virgin Mobile Festival and rid the venue of any rogue bottles/cans.

The two-day music festival featured bands like The Police, Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, Wu-Tang Clan, Amy Winehouse, Interpol, and a whole lot more. Global Inheritance and the TRASHed :: Recycling Store fit in perfectly alongside such popular acts. We managed to please the steady flow of young and old recyclers who came looking to trade their empty bottles and cans for top-notch prizes.
All weekend, people walked away with organic Loomstate jeans and bags, Simpsons merch, Logitech iPod speakers, organic Livity belts and phone cases, fresh tunes from Warner Music and Interscope, Netflix subscriptions, Focus Features DVDs, Quiksilver shirts and hats, plus much more. Congratulations are in order for the top buyers who collected over 500 bottles and cans and exchanged them for X Games or Fuel TV skate decks and Virgin phones.
Stay classy Baltimore, and we'll probably see you again next year. Until then, you can relive the weekend through this Flickr photo set from the festival.
