ABOUT
Fashion Peace is a youth-focused global movement promoting “creative thinking over conflict” through fashion and art.
While addressing worldwide issues with long-term creative solutions rather than temporary shortsighted answers, Fashion Peace looks to empower individuals and groups to speak out and promote their ideas for a positive future. It is a call to action directed at the world to fix global imbalances and take action toward positive change that generates synergy among people, countries, and the environment.
Designers create and alter garments that promote creative thinking over conflict and project the message in a format that celebrates the creative energy of fashion. Fashion companies donate clothing and materials to artists who, in turn, enhance the clothing to target various causes that need attention and assistance. The redesigned clothing is then exhibited across the country through national exhibits and shows and online.
