Upcoming Water Education Exhibit In LA’s Chinatown District

In Oasis

Global Inheritance is working to bring a 4 week, one of a kind, interactive exhibit to Los Angeles this summer, and we want you to dive in and be a part of the experience.

The Topic :: Water is the source of all life on the planet. Well folks, California is running dry. That’s not a matter of opinion, but a matter of fact, and this reality is what we seek to address with our upcoming initiative. The proposed exhibit aims to provide a unique educational experience which helps people grasp the scale of our current water challenges in California, while fostering conversation about what the future of water will be.

The Location :: 2014 marks the 40th anniversary of the release of the Academy Award winning film Chinatown – considered a masterpiece of modern film noir. In the spirit of the film’s setting and its exploration of the California Water Wars, our educational exhibit will be hosted in the heart of Los Angeles’ Chinatown (exact location TBD).

Lets Make It Happen Together :: This critical water initiative needs scientists, artists, designers, speakers, writers, and other passionate/creative/motivated individuals who are inspired to bring this project to life. We want to hear your ideas about what the exhibit might include (demonstrations, photography, film screenings, demonstrations, speakers, artwork etc.) and how we can generate the largest overall impact on this issue.

If you’re passionate about this environmental issue and want to help educate Los Angeles and the rest of California about our current water challenges  – we want to hear from you.
