Festival traffic is one of the biggest attendee complaints, and it is also one of the biggest contributors to carbon emissions. We need community events and cultural moments to bring people together, especially during challenging times, so what can we do?
One of the best things any event attendee can do is carpool. There's only upside (saving both money and time!), plus you get to spend time with old friends, new friends, and family. A record number of carpoolers participated in our Coachella and Stagecoach initiatives this past year. Not only did everyone draw for the chance to get fabulous prizes, but they also helped promote carpooling nationwide by showcasing their art skills on their cars, and sharing their stories on social media – #Carpoolchella #CarpoolConvoy
Cowboy hats off to the Stagecoach crowd for stepping up their game in 2025, breaking the Stagecoach Carpool Convoy record and showing all the other country festivals how it's done!
